New Camera

Dylan bought me a DSLR for Christmas so I could join the rest of the world.  It's been fun to play with and I already have a couple classes scheduled to figure it all out.  Here are just a few pics from today.

Christmas

Christmas through the eyes of a child is amazing.  This year was so much fun.  Tatum was excited about opening her presents and would play with each toy after opening them.  We loved every second of it.  So much so that we made Christmas a two day event.  Not intentionally, it just happened.  She was taking so long to open her gifts at our house in the morning that after half were opened we decided to open the rest when we got home from Grandma's.  Then we didn't get home until after her bedtime and she was already sleeping so we finished up in the morning. 

Our little girl was WORN out to say the least.  All the excitement at our house then Grandma's was a little overwhelming.  She played hard and I loved watching the excitement in her eyes!

Happy Birthday Liza

Since we wouldn't be seeing The Harigs' for Christmas, we decided to make a last minute trip to Tulsa to help them celebrate Liza's birthday.  Tatum was fairly good in the car for the 4-5 hour drive.  We tried to plan it aroud her nap but that didn't work out quite as well as we would have liked.  Thankfully she slept well while we were there, you never know with her when traveling.

We all had a great time and were glad we got to see everyone, even if only for a short time.

BOY!!!

We considered having the doctor put the results in an envelope and waiting until Christmas but we just couldn't do it.  We are both very excited.  The best of both worlds!

We have a couple names, although we are pretty sure what it't going to be...we will hold off on announcing until we are certain.

Christmas #1

Dad and Barbara came in town on Wednesday and left earlier today.  We always do christmas with them the weekend before christmas.  We all had a great time!  Family time, girl time, guy time, play time.  We did it all.

We ate dinner at Esparza's after we picked them up from the airport.  It's one of Dad and Barbara's favorite spots from efore they moved.

 Thursday night we ate at Babe's.  That place is almost too good, if such a thing. After we ate, we went to see some lights at the TCU head coach's house.  He spares no expense!

 Mr. and Mrs. Clause, an elf, Rudolph, Frosty, and a Horned Frog are all dressed up walking around the curb talking to the kids and waving.  Its a pretty cool sight.

After opening all the gifts and having Christmas breakfast we were all off to other things. The guys were heading to the American Airlines Arena to watch Baylor play Gonzaga and the girls were off to The Crescent for some relaxing in the spa! This was my kind of Christmas!!!

Cribs x2

This is all becoming VERY real.  The crib I ordered for Baby #2 has arrived.  I am now the proud owner of 2 cribs and just now realizing how much trouble I'm about to be in with 2 kids under 2!  Yikes!  Let the fun begin!!!

Breakfast with Santa

We went and had breakfast with Santa this morning with Alison, Eric, and Aslynn.  Tatum had fun, at least with everything except having to see Santa.  She is TERRIFIED of the jolly 'ol man.

We got our christmas tree earlier this week and Tatum helped us put the ornaments on today.  She is turning into such a good little helper!
