LOST!

I lost a months worth of iphone pictures.  I'm so sad.  It feels like a little piece of my heart was taken.

We've been so busy and done so many things in the last month.

Tatum had a costume parade at school...I took video (lost that too) and pictures.  Tatum's whole class was so cute.  We also went to the pumpkin patch and so many other fun things that I will just have memories of.  ;o(

I found some pictures on Dylan's phone and a few on Instagram so here's what I have...so so sad.

10.10
Halloween Festivities begin!  SHe loved coloring her pumpkin and worked on it almost every day until Halloween.
10.10
He couldn't care less about the pumpkin coloring...he was more interested in the air plane flying over head...or anything else that moves.

10.11
Even though there are no pumpkins in the pictures, this is the pumpkin patch.  We hit it up after school with Hudson and Druz...anything to kill a little time.
10.11
Tatum and Aslynn on the tractor.

10.11
He goes hard in the paint.

 10.13
Fall Festival at Delaney Vineyards

10.13
Tatum and Aslynn...best buds

10.13
This girl loves to bounce!
They had a bounce house, petting zoo, as well as face painting and more.

10.13
BAHAHAHAHA!  We are not in dire pain.  This was us on a hay ride.  Sometimes its the best you can get.  Love it!  To our defence the sun was in our face.  At least that's the story I'm going with.

10.13
The hay ride takes you to the back of the vineyards and you can walk back through the grapevines and pic a pumpkin.  She was very proud of hers.

 Pumpkin carving at Mom's!
10.14
Vicki's little helpers

10.14
Tyler doing what most of us wouldn't.  Hate the feeling of pumpkin guts!  YUCK!

10.14
Tatum and Daddy's pumpkin

10.14
Two of the final masterpieces...Dylan and Tross'.  Mom and Tyler were trying to get all creative so they didn't finish theirs in time for my picture.

10.17
It was our turn to do the "Spooking"  Tatum had a blast running from the houses after we rang the doorbells and left our treat baskets.

10.19
Dad was in town for the weekend.  We had a cool night one night so we took the opportunity to light up the fireplace and make some s'mores!  So good!  Loved it!

10.20
We all went to the TCU/Texas Tech game.  So.much.fun.  Except the part where the game went into overtime and Dylan, Vicki, and Tross had to leave to get the car because our sitter couldn't stay later.  Then Dad, Tyler and I had to leave after the 2nd overtime...Tech won in in the 3rd overtime...glad my Uncle in OHIO was watching the game because that is how we found out who won?!?!?!?  As a whole we were NOT happy!  Oh and my Dad had to miss the end of the Ohio State game that went into over time to get to the Tech game AND we had to leave our house before the Cowboys game ended on Sunday to get to our softball game.  I'm sure Dad LOVED visiting!

10.27
Double Trouble 10K at Grapevine Lake...gearing up for my half marathon in December.

 Halloween
The kids were so cute!  Tatum wanted to be a witch...a good witch, of course.  And Druz was a vampire.  They had so much fun going door to door.  Druz had his first sucker and his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th...while handing out candy with Daddy as I took Tatum to a few more houses.

This was our walkway...people were taking pictures in front of it.  It was fun.  Another successful Halloween...Thanks Mom for the props!

Thank God Liz took pictures for me, or I would have lost these too!

Love this girl to pieces!

The Little Mermaid

Tatum is pretty much obsessed.  She walks around the house singing..."ahhhhh ahhhhh ahhhhh ahhhhhhhhh ahhh ahhhhh."

When Alison said Grapevine High School was performing The Little Mermaid and some of her voice students were in it...I jumped on board.

Tatum cried when we left but that just means its was a success, right?  We are working on that part.  ;o)

Tatum and Aslynn with a couple of Ariel's sisters

Aslynn and Tatum with Prince Eric and Ariel
Why is Tatum staring at Prince Eric like that???  We are going to be in trouble!

We got Spooked!

Our little Cowgirl Cowboy

Druz getting ready to drag Playa around the park

We got Spooked!  When we went to the park tonight, someone came by and left us some sweet treats and more!  Tatum was over the moon!

Halloween nails that were in the Spooked gift.  They lasted all of 3 minutes.  She was tapping on everything...I remember doing that when I got Lee Press On nails when I was younger.  Ahhhh, memories!

Where did my little girl go?

I got Tatum's school pictures back today.

They gave us a little canvas bag with one of the pictures on it.  I've never loved a canvas bag so much in my life!

She looks so big!  The day of her pictures, I let her pick out her clothes and how she wanted her hair done.  I didn't make a big deal out of the pictures because, I thought, she will have more preschool pictures next year.  I mean how many pictures do these kids need?!?!?!  Ha! This coming from Momarazzi!  When I got the pictures back I was so glad she had them!  She looked so grown up and beautiful.

I love that sweet smile and could look at it for a lifetime.

Randomisms...

I saw this on Facebook today and thought of my kids and how good Tyler and Vitross play with them.

Time Out!

This might be his favorite past time when he grows up...at least he gets enough of them to remember!  Sometimes there isn't enough alcohol in the house to get me through my days!  Still wouldn't change it though.

TCU

We have obviously adopted TCU as our local team, neither of us went there but it was so close to us and we know so many people so it's been tons of fun going to the games and cheering them on...unless they are playing one of our alma maters, of course.  An now that they are in the BIG 12 we it makes it all worth while.

TCU played Iowa State today.  It was the coldest game we have been to but we still managed to have some fun.

Trying to keep warm

Somebody was keeping warm and having a little too much fun.  ;o)

Jack of all trades...

This guy does it all...he paints finger nails and toe nails, has tea parties, plays grocery store, wrestles, reads stories, gives baths, and now he helps his little princess paint her new tea set.

What a good Dad!

The kids and I had a picnic at the park today.  They love our new park and pond.  We fed the ducks and played for a while.  Druz is finally able to climb up on the jungle gym by himself.  I still stay close but it's nice that I don't have to do as much work.  My little boy is growing up!

I volunteered this evening for the Tarrant Area Food Bank.  Wednesday nights they do Backpack for Kids.  I've probably mentioned this before in a previous blog but it is still a eye opening experience everytime I go.  We just stuff bags with all kinds of food and drinks to get these kids through the weekends.  To think that so many children in FWISD need to be given back packs full of food for the weekend...because the only real meals they get are they ones provided at school.  Makes me thankful and blessed for what we have...like being able to have a picnic at the park with my kids and plenty of food in the pantry to bring with us.

This is what happens when you show up to a warehouse to work and are wearing open toe sandals.  They made me put on these crocs...God only knows what or who have worn them...all for the cause, right?
