Dancing Cowboys!

 I mean dancing AND Cowboys...

Dylan's parents and sister are in town to go to the Packers game…and to celebrate Christmas.  BUT, the trip was planned around the football game. ;o)

Today we had a busy day.  The ice storm last weekend canceled so many events we had planned and in order to make them up, they were reschedule for this weekend.

Breakfast with Santa as well as her dance recital were both canceled.  We weren't able to go to the Breakfast make up but we, of course, had to take her to her very first recital where she was on a "REAL STAGE" (her words, not mine) for the first time.

She loved every second of it.  That age is so cute on stage, not really knowing what to do and trying to remember the steps.  Precious memories.

I thought I had some video on my phone but I used the video camera so you will just have to imagine how great it was.  ;o)

She loved all her make-up

She had this move down.  The instructor told them to look at their diamonds on their fingers.  She may have been TOO good at this one.

After the recital, Lucy and I left the kids with the Grandma's and headed to meet the guys for the Cowboys vs. Packers football game.

It was a great game but we won't talk details.  Matt sure was happy though!

Girls! Girls! Girls!

I love and LIVE for my girls nights out.  Especially now!  It's so important (for me) to get out and feel human again.

Had fun out with the ladies.  Don't remember what we talked about and it had nothing to do with what I drank.  I'm so sleep deprived, I'm almost delirious but I do know that I thoroughly enjoyed every second of my time with them!

Gingerbread House

Dylan and the kids worked on a gingerbread house last night.  They loved making it and eating the candy too!

I think Druz got a head start on the candy eating

Tross joined in on the fun too!

Almost complete!

Camdyn wasn't able to participate but it didn't seem to bother her.  She was having a party of her own on the floor…Druz even wanted to join.

SNOW DAY!

We had unite the cold fort come through and it turned into a SNOW DAY!!!  Everyone is trapped in their houses and trying to stay as warm as possible!

This is how we spent our day.

I have the BEST friends in the world!

I've been having a hard time with three.  I'll admit it.  I may have bitten off more than I can chew with this one.  At least it feels like that now.  I'm hoping I'll look back on this one day (really soon) and laugh.

Apparently I where my feelings and condition on my sleeve because my girlfriend offered to take Tatum and Druz so that I could just worry about the baby and get as much sleep as possible.  I of course said, "oh you are so sweet and thank you but we will get through it."  I guess Tiffany felt like I needed it more than I thought I did because she shows up at my house unannounced (in the middle of an ice storm mind you) and says she is not leaving my house without the kids.

It was so nice, thoughtful, awesome, sympathetic, undeserved, and so much more!  The kids had so much fun staying up way too late watching movies with her boys, then drinking hot chocolate, eating cookies and playing in the snow.

She sent me this while the kids were there.  Dylan was pretty proud.

2 Months Old

Camdyn is two months old.  I'd like to say that it feels like yesterday that she was born but seeing that she is up numerous times throughout the night it seems like it's been ages!

I love this girl with all my heart but if she could just sleep a little better and more at night that would be GREAT!!!  She is started to coo and is really just a happy baby.  The worst sleeper of the three but by far the happiest of them.  It's hard to be mad at her for not sleeping when she is constantly looking at me and smiling.

Life has been so busy with three.  I still don't have it figured out and am starting to think it may never happen but at this point I'm coming to terms with my new life.

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving week in Florida with Dad and Barbara.  It was nice to get away and the kids love visiting.  Now if we could just work out the weather situation we would be all set.  I swear every time we head to Florida the weather is in the 80s the week before we get there and then drops to 60 when we arrive.

Something is wrong with this picture.  Why am I sitting on the same side as all three kids???

Avri and Tatum playing princess dress up.
We have some friends that live in the Orlando area so we stopped at their house for dinner the first night we were there before driving up to Dads.  It was fun hanging out with them and the kids had a good time playing.

We celebrated Dad's birthday while we were there.  His birthday is on Christmas Eve so it usually gets crammed in with Christmas and that's just no fun.  Barbara thought it would be fun to do it while we were there so we could celebrate with him.

The kids helped open his gifts.  Barbara got him a Kindle.

The birthday boy!

It's almost like he was a kid again!
Those cupcakes were HUGE and the kids don't eat sweets all that much.  We said they could share one and Papa trumped us and said they could have their own.  I guess you can't argue with the birthday boy!  Thankfully we only visit him a few times a year.  Needless to say, the kids had tummy aches the rest of the night but seemed to enjoy the cupcakes while eating them!

Camdyn is like…"What is going on???"

She is already tired of all the pictures.

Barbara and the big kids enthralled with a movie

 Pano of Dad's house

We headed to dinner one night and then did a little dancing with the live band in Lake Sumter Landing
Dylan and Dad went golfing one day so Barbara and I took the kids to a cute little farm.

We fed chickens, pet rabbits, milked a goat, and fed the cows

The kids also got to go on pony rides.  Druz loves it until the horse makes any movement with his head…he thinks the horse is going to attack him or something.  He had fun in the end but you couldn't tell from the picture.

Thanksgiving Program

The kids had a little program at school today and then we had a "feast" with them.  Dylan was out of town for a couple days so Vicki came with me.

Druz' celebration was at 11 and Tatum's was at 12.  It was nice to spend time with each of them and I was so thankful for Vicki coming to help juggle the baby so I could feel like I was present during the program and our "feast".

This kid is so much like his Dad in so many ways!

Tatum was thankful for her "puppy and her whole family"
Druz was thankful for "toys"
At least we are raising one of them right. ;o)
Druz wanted nothing to do with a picture with me and Tatum would have taken a million if I asked.
He did, however, take a picture with Vicki.

The kids made these placemats for us with their hand and foot prints.  For some reason I couldn't get Tatums to turn the right way but you get the idea.

ICE!

We took the kids to the ICE exhibit at the Gaylord Texan.  It's 11 degrees and has ice sculptures and some slides.

The kids had about 50 layers on under the blue coats that they gave everyone.

We ever took the babies.  Strapped them to us in the bjorns and covered them up with hats and another 50 layers!

They had an ice slide so the kids had fun and wanted to stay.  After about 3 times each, we had to call it a day.  I'm not cut out for the cold!

 We took the whole crew.

Had to take a picture with this guy.

I enjoy getting my hair done.  It forces me to sit still for a few hours and just breathe.  Relax and read a book or just chat with Robert (my hair dresser).

Please tell me this is not how my hair appointments will be going forward???  I am as concerned as I look!

Yes, that is a baby and a coffee in my hand as well as a phone.  Having three kids has taught me to multi-task if nothing else!

Our Soccer Star

We got Tatums soccer pictures in the mail today.

Pretty cute.  I'll save this for when she goes pro.

Sunday Funday

Camdyn was my little running buddy today. She seemed pretty happy about it.

Dylan was a trooper and rode his bike with the trailer while I got in the car and drove over.

Both Tatum and Druz love love love their little sister.

Football, Friends, and Fun!

We had people over for the game last night so Dylan and Druz mowed the grass.

Then we had a nice lunch with lots of friends and kids in Southlake.

And we eded the night watching football and roasting marshmallows and hanging out with more friends.

We had quite the busy but FUN weekend and it's not even over yet!
