Masquerade Ball

These two went to the Daddy Daughter Dance tonight.  I love it when they spend one on one time together.  She is getting so big!  I wish we could freeze time!!!
Dylan and Tatum met up with a few friends before the ball to take some pictures.

I love that Dylan is dancing in the background!
Tatum and Ashlynn have been going to this dance together with their Dads since they were 3!  I love the memories they will share with each other as they get older!

This is how we spent our time while Daddy and Tatum were dancing the night away.  A little cuddling and movie time is all this crew needed.

Back at it

I love this guy for so many reasons but a big one is his love for our kids and his willingness to be there and participate no matter what.

Tatum started her second season of basketball with Dylan as her coach.  We recruited a few friends this year so it will be exciting to watch all the girls learn to play and work together.

He is so good with all the girls and I'm sure it doesn't hurt that basketball is his thing.  He was giddy when he got home from work today and while getting ready for practice he couldn't contain his huge smile.

I had a Junior League meeting so I wasn't able to watch them in action but loved getting this from one of the moms afterwards!

They Say These Are The Good Days

I love staying home with my kids, I really do.  They say these are the good days, so when my days are like this...I just grin and bear it knowing the worst is yet to come.

Druz somehow got a huge splinter in his foot from our kitchen floor.  He didn't cry at all just looked at me with crazy eyes when he told me, "Umm, Mom, I think I got a splinter."  Yes, son, you sure did!  Surgery by Dr. Mom was short and sweet and after a Darth Vader bandaid, all was well with the work again.

Until this happened.  I was simply trying to get some laundry done and left the room for a few short minutes.  This is how I found Camdyn.  She climbed up on the counter with the stool on the other side and just decided to read Druz and Tatums High Five magazine on the bar.  Gotta love her free spirit.
