Is it 6:30 yet?!?!?!

May 4

Our friends Katie and Chad came in town so we decided to all get together and have some fun.

We met at the zoo around 3.  Somehow, all the husbands were able to join us (except for Chad, who was in a business meeting, hence the reason they were in town.)  We all had a great time.  It was a tad bit warm but we managed to find plenty of air conditioned exhibits.

Pictures were courtesy of  Katie...the two I took over the entire night didn't hold a candle to hers.  Thanks Katie!

Little Druz enjoying the view in the aquarium.

Tatum loves the elephants!

Becca and Carson

After the zoo we had reservations at The Wood Shed.  There is no AC at the restaurant so it made for a warm dinner but we pushed through and managed to have fun chatting and catching up a little more.

Katie, Avri, Druz, me, Carson, and Becca after dinner. Emily was feeding little Harper and all the hubby's were entertaining the kids while we took the picture.

Ahhhhh 6:30!  Tatum's school has a Parent's Night Out once a month and it just so happened to be the same night we were all together...so...at 6:30 we dropped the kids off at the church and got to catch up some more, minus the kiddos!

Fun at the Park

We took the kids to Parr Park today (April 29).  I haven't been in a long time and have never taken the kids.  We had a good time.  It was hot so the kids took nice long naps when we got home...which was the point, of course.  ;o)

She loved climbing in the spider web ropes

She has no fear and wants to climb on everything...by herself.

Climbing the sideways ladder

My sweet family

She was so proud of herself when she got to the middle...all by herself.

Playing like a big boy

Look Mom, I can catch the ball standing on one foot!

What do you mean, it's time to go?!?!?!

Her last climb before heading home.

 Let's Go!

He loves to swing!

Garage Sale

We had a garage sale this weekend (April 27-28).  In addition to making a few extra bucks on junk we were getting rid of...some nice men in uniform stopped by to buy some lemonade from Tatum.

They had a call in the neighborhood and when they drove by, Vicki held up the sign so they said they would come back.  The call was just a false alarm so afterwards they stopped for a refreshing glass of lemonade.  It was very sweet.  They asked if she wanted to see the truck and held her hand.  Too too cute!

Honey...You're Home!

I was so happy for Dylan to make it home (April 27).  I picked him up at the airport and dropped him off at the house so I could make it to happy hour with the girls on time.  I mean, I did miss him but I needed a babysitter for a WELL deserved girls night!

I've known most of these girls since high school.  It's always so fun catching up...uninterrupted.

Being silly.

The four of us went to Esparza's after we had a few drinks.  I think we laughed from the second we walked in the door to the second we had to leave.

While Daddy's Away...

Dylan decided a business trip (that's what he called it) was more important than spending time here with his loving and perfect (wink wink) family so he took off for a week (April 23-27) of work in Palm Beach Florida...rough, I know.

So, while he was away playing sand volleyball, basketball, going out at night, and squeezing in a meeting or two. The kids and I were having our own fun.

We made breakfast with Grandma

Gym Rats...
I stole this picture from Alison's blog (thanks Ali!)
Just like her post said, we spend enough time at the gym, it should definitely be represented on our blogs!

Weekend in Tulsa

We spent the weekend in Tulsa (April 20-22).  We figured it was about time to give Mom a little break from the kids and us.  The weather was PERFECT!  We had such a great time.  Maddie and Brian came up for the weekend as well so that was an added bonus.  Tatum loves her Auntie M!

We even got to go out for a drink while Gam-E and G-Pop watched the kiddos.

I hope you like pictures!

We made a trip to the Tulsa Zoo.  As you know, Tatum loves all things animals so it was the perfect place to go for the day.

Brian, Maddie, Dylan and Druz hanging out at the zoo.

There is a Rainforest exhibit at the zoo and the Orchid Club was there displaying their orchids so it was even prettier inside the exhibit.

A little gator resting on a log in the Rainforest

There is also a sloth in the rainforest.  We read "Diego Saves the Sloth" to Tatum often (usually every night) so she was also excited to see the sloth.  He just roams freely, which is cool.  I had never seen one in real life before.

Pretty leopard

Even Druz was enjoying all the animals

My girl, running around loving life.  I could watch her smiling and having fun every second of every day.  Definitely a Karos moment.  ;o)

Swinging with a Smile

I thought she was being a sweet sister and pushing him, then I realized she was just using him to play, whatever works.  They both had smiles on their faces...That's what matters.

Love her

Sweet babies
