Day Date with Tatum

Tatum has been begging to get her nails done so I've been telling her for a few months now that we would go after she was out for Christmas break.  She never forgot it, so we made it a date and decided to spend most of the day just the two of us.

We started off getting her nails done.  She decided a month ago that she wanted reindeer on them so thats what she got.

We stopped for lunch at Rosas...at her request then she wanted to go to the library to check out some books.  This is her getting her picture taken for her very own library card.

She wanted books about basketball, chapter books, and she even checked a book out for Druz.

After the library we went to Sunshine Glaze.  My girl loves crafting.  She had her choice of pottery painting, mosaic, or thumb print painting.  She chose mosaic and she wanted to do this flower.  We still have to grout it but she did great and we both had fun spending that day together!

Gingerbread House

I've got a whole list of Christmas To-Dos and it always seems like we get to Christmas and don't get to do half of the things we wanted.  Well, not this year!  I'm making every effort to check everything off our list and making a gingerbread house is a must do!!!

Tatum and Druz each had two sides to decorate.  Camden, just ate the candy.  A girl after my own heart!

The top two are Druz' and the bottom are Tatums.

Christmas Cuties

Dylan and I went to a class at church so we had a sitter.  I told her they could where any PJs they wanted for bed.  She sent me this picture of them.  These are from last year and a little snug.

I love Druz' belly hanging out, Camdyns stance, and Tatums sweet smile.  #4 has some big shoes to fill!  It doesn't get much cuter than this!!!

Fire Station Visit

The littles and I made a visit to one of our local fire stations today.  They were so amazed by how BIG everything was and that the firemen actually slept there!

Operation Donate Halloween Candy

In an effort to keep our candy intake down... and my weight while baring baby #4... we decided to donate our Halloween candy to the troops.

I let Tatum and Druz go through their candy and pick out 10 pieces each.  We took the rest to a local drop off spot, and they collect all the candy and then ship it off to the troops.

The kids were thrilled to donate the candy.  I'm sure the Veterans Day activities they are doing at school this week probably helped them feel like it was a good cause! I was super proud of them for having such a great attitude about it and never complaining once!  It was a Win Win for everyone!

These two can be so sweet to each other...believe it or not, that's a smile on Camdyns face!

I know I'm biased but Wow!  This little girl is beautiful!  Where has out little girls gone?!?!?!?

6 year check up!

Tatum had her 6 year check up this morning.  Her appointment was at 8:40am so I told her she didn't have to go to school if she didn't want to in the morning.  She said, there was no way she could mis the pep rally! So, off she went this morning for her 10 minute pep rally, then I showed up a few minutes later to pick her up for her appointment.  I love that she loves school.  Could be worse!

No shots needed today but the nurse asked her if she wanted to get a flu shot and she was a trooper, "Sure!" she said, knowing exactly what was coming her way.  Once she saw the needle she may (or may not) have freaked out a little but hey, she still got the shot and after a little treat from Starbucks we were headed back to school!

I've been discovered!

Camdyn and Druz were playing upstairs.  I had her DropCam on and heard her yelling for me.  I guess she found out where the camera was!  Hehe.

Go Rangers!

Had a fun family night at the Rangers game last night.  They love the games and sit through the whole thing.  We even stayed for the fireworks at the end which were surprisingly good!

6 Years Old!

Sometimes I just stare at her in amazement.  How did she get so big?  How is she so smart?  Please stop growing!  Please stay my little girl forever!

My first born, the one that made me a Mama for the first time in my life...forever changed me the day she arrived.  How can she be 6 already?!?!?!  Makes me want to cry, makes me want to scream with excitement, and makes me so happy that God blessed us with her as our beautiful, loving, daughter for the rest of our lives.  We love you Tatum and hope you have the best year yet!

Coming March 2015

I guess we can finally announce the big news around here.  We are having another baby!  #4 will arrive sometime mid-March.  We are excited to complete our little family!

Good Bye Summer, Hello First Grade!

First Day of 1st Grade!  She is getting so big so fast!  She has Mrs.  Bisballe, which is who she was hoping to get so that made for a smooth first day!

Neither of us shed a tear.  I'd say it was a successful day!

Girl Scout Pool Party!

We had a fun pool party with all the Girl Scouts today.  A great way to end summer and gives all the girls something to look forward to for their first day...getting to see all their friends again!

Our Last Hoorah!

Our last Hoorah before school starts on Monday.  We took the kids to play putt-putt and out to lunch. Despite the heat, we all survived and had a great time spending a few last moments of our summer laughing and making memories.

We had a playdate, at the Leighs house, after VBS today.  I think it was safe to say this kids had fun!  

Go Rangers

Dylan was given 10 tickets to the Rangers game for tonights Dodgers vs Rangers face-off.  We sat behind the Dodgers dug out so we were on the opposing sides team.  We won the game and had fun cheering on our baseball boys!

Fletcher House Fun!

The Fletchers invited us over for lunch and swimming.  As you can tell from our previous posts...we don't pass up many invitations!  The kids loved playing together for hours!  

We will look back on these times and have so many memories!  From birth until...who knows when!

And just like that...they're out!
