Memorial Day Weekend Fun

We went to church this morning...YAY!!! 

When we had Tatum, we didn't go to church for 4 months because I was so stressed about getting everything together and leaving her in the nursery. 

We didn't put him in the nursery but we made it...and on time! 

After church and some much needed naps we went to the MeGowns for some cook out fun.  We even got to play some Wii dance games.  Seriously fun and hilarious!

Swimming at Grandma's

Tatum finally got to get in Grandma's pool with her swimmies.  She has been on the steps a couple times but this was the official start to the swimming season!

I'm sure we will never be able to go to Grandma's again without her throwing a fit to get in the pool!

Doctor and Good Bye's

Druz had his first doctor appointment today.  At two weeks they just like to see that baby is at least back up to birth weight, well he has exceeded the expectations!

My little BIG boy is now 8 lbs and 14 oz.  He gained a whole pound since leaving the hospital.  He lost a few ounces after birth which is normal.  The doctor says he looks great!  I love a good check up! 

Went to a little picnic this evening to say good bye to a couple in our Sunday school class who is moving to Oklahoma.  The kids had fun and it was nice getting together, even if it was for a good bye.  We wish them the best!!!

We had some pictures done today...What a complete disaster!  It was early evening, Tatum decided to not cooperate, the photographer got stuck in traffic, then got into a small fender bender when she arrived to the Botanical Gardens, where we were taking pictures.  Needless to say, we have rescheduled the pictures for Monday but here is a picture from the session that turned out pretty darn cute. 

Busy Busy Busy

Between feedings, changing diapers, swim lessons, and keeping the house cleaned, we have had 5 showings.  One everyday since Saturday.  Yikes!  Not sure how we managed to make it work but we did.

No offers though.  Two of the showings were 2nd showings so that's a good thing.  We have gotten good feed back as well so that's also a good sign.  The house has only been on MLS for a week so we aren't getting our hopes up just thankful we are getting some bites.

I can't believe he is already a week old!!!

He has the same chubby cheeks that his sister had.  He isn't as big as the picture makes him look.  He is a very calm mannered baby so far.  Although he is still in his sleep coma.  Tatum wasn't this calm, but then neither were Dylan and I.  We have changed so much as parents, in a good way, I think. 

I. heart. him.

Makes me want another...not right now but one day.  This might all change in a few months though.  Will keep you posted.

Liza arrived the Sunday before Druz was born and we are so glad she did!  She was so helpful with Tatum.  We had Dr. appointments about every 3 days so it was nice having the extra help and Tatum LOVED every second of spending time with her Gam-E.

Liza stayed with Tatum at the house while we were in the hospital and then Ron arrived the day we got home.  We wish they lived closer because Tatum enjoyed them while they were here.

Daddy Daughter Day

Tatum has swim lessons on Wednesdays and since I was a little out of commission the last couple days, Dylan took her.  He said he had a great time playing with her and Gam-E went along to watch and take pictures.
