It was the last Monday to enjoy some early morning zoo fun. We hit up the zoo again with the Phelan boys. Always a good time.
No fear here
Checking out the Komodo Dragon...she was really scared until I explained that this "dragon" doesn't spit fire.
I always have these great photo ideas in my head and then this is what it turns out to look like
Daydreaming about the blissful life of a penguin. It was 100 degrees outside...I thought penguins lived in frigid areas???
It's almost as if this little guy knew we had gone to the zoo earlier and forgot to take him. While the kids were napping I sat at the dining room table trying to get some bills paid, etc. I kept hearing this scratching sound and finally pulled up the shade and found this little guy ease dropping on me.
The Fletchers were heading to the aquarium and invited us to tag along. The kids love it! While waiting in line we ran into the Hortons so we all got to hang out with the kiddos, catch up, and watch some fish.

Always chaotic when you throw little ones into the mix!
Finished the day with some pool time...because apparently the aquarium just didn't wear them out enough!

My little monster having fun at the splash park yesterday...
We had so much fun yesterday, we decided to meet some friends this time. Two days in a row at the splash park?!?!?! If they only knew how lucky they really are!
We spent the morning at the aquarium. Both kids loved it. This was the first time Druz got to really run around and see everything without being in the stroller.
After the aquarium we met the Fletcher's for dinner...Tatum missed Zoe!
Four years of wedded bliss. Can you tell how excited Dylan was to take me out on our anniversary? The realities of marriage. #notfoolinganyone #truelove
Mom watched the kids while Dylan and I had a nice dinner together. We finished pretty early but I refused to go home before the kids were in bed.
The zoo has Member Mondays during the month of July. It gets so hot during the day and the zoo doesn't normally open until 10 so on Mondays in July they open at 9. We made it out today to enjoy the warm morning sun and some friendly little critters.
While we were in Ohio, I got Druz' one year pictures back! Can't say enough about them!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE them and thanks to my dear friend, Andrea Murry Photography, for taking such sweet pictures of my favorite people!
These are just a few of my favorites. I hope you LOVE them because I was very close to not posting them just in case I wanted to use one or some in our christmas cards...but they are just too cute to leave hidden!
Me and my babies!
My big boy!
My sweet family

The chair I pulled out of the trash and painted, turned out great!!!
One of my favorites of Druz!
This is another one of my favorites of Tatum. I just love that face and her little dimple!
My little man in his big boy tie
LOVE LOVE LOVE this face! Makes me sad that he is getting so big but having so much fun with him and this smile is perfect!
Tyler was promised a trip to The Football Hall of Fame and since Vicki and Tross left early in the morning and Dylan and Dad were golfing I was left to make his dreams come true.
Tatum went to the museum with the other kids while Tyler and I set out with Druz to the Hall of Fame.
Tatum, Lily, Evan, Kole, and Rowan
Giving their best dinosaur ROARS!
Tyler...in heaven
All the kids, climbing up the steps at the McKinley Monument
Those stairs must have worn her out.
Going for a ride in the back of Great-Grandpa's truck
One of my favorite parts about Ohio is the Drive-In. Tatum had her first drive-in experience. She got to see Brave.
While we were packing up to leave on Friday Tatum was entertaining Grandma and Grandpa.
We made it home safe and sound Saturday morning. We had so much fun and loved seeing everyone. Looking forward to next year already!
Monday we decided to kill some time at the Akron Zoo.
We couldn't leave without riding the carrousel.
She loves playing "store"
Our little penguin
While we were off at the zoo learning about animals and being productive...Dylan was doing this.
A little splash time with the cousins...cooling off after the zoo
The futures so bright...he's gotta wear shades
SPARKLERS!
Tuesday we had a full day planned...
First we started with a picnic
Then off for a wagon ride...
Don't forget about the off-roading...
Then we headed over to my Uncle Mike's house. We got to hang out with G.B. (Grandma Baker) Uncle Andy, Uncle Mike, Aunt Michelle, and also got to see lots of cousins that we hadn't seen in YEARS!
He is building this house by hand...as in his own two.
View from the top floor looking down at the entry/middle level
After Uncle Mike's, we stopped by to see Aunt Gina. She had to work so wasn't able to come to Mike's.
Such a sweet little face.
Training for Olympics 2016
Flirting with the girls already!
My little daredevil, couldn't get enough of the slide
One night Uncle Jebby put on this wig...Tatum wanted to have a turn too.
I ran in a 5 mile race the morning of the 4th. I hadn't run that far in months...slacking, I know. BUT I finished without walking and just over my goal time but hey, it's the fourth of July so I'm just happy I got up and did it!
I LOVE this picture of Rowan...I laugh every time I look at it!!!
Running through the sprinkler!
Taking a quick break, before getting back at it!
Here is what Dylan was doing while we were playing in the sprinkler...do you see a theme here.
