Heading to camp

Lunch with Daddy at his office

My girl was worn out from all the excitement of the day

We finished the night off with Make Your Own Mexican Pizzas.  The kids had so much fun putting all the fixins on

We will definitely do this again.  They ate all their food and asked for seconds.  I broke up their Tostados since they would be too big for the kids to eat.  Even Dylan and I enjoyed them!

The kids and I had a picnic in the backyard after Tatum came home from camp.  It was such a nice day!

Birthday Fun!

Dylan went into this office this morning for a little while so what better way to kill some time than to go swimming.  Druz still isn't a huge fan of swimming or the pool in general and I'm ok with that.

He may want to change his tune before swim lessons in a couple weeks or its going to be a really long week for him (and me).

My little fish and my little observer.

Tatum found another snake in the pool today.  I tried to take it out with my hand but then it wrapped itself around my finger so I freaked out and threw it back in.  I will be using a stick in the future.

Zoe and Tatum
After a little swim time we headed out to pick up Daddy and to go to Zoe's 3rd birthday party.  What a fun party.  It was at The Young Chef's Academy in Fort Worth and the kids got to cook their own pizzas and decorate their own cupcakes.  She loved it!

Eating her cupcake she carefully decorated.

Last Day of Preschool

Tatum had her last day of Preschool today.  It was bittersweet.  Her teacher is moving to San Antonio so that was sad but there will be other great teachers.

I really loved Ms. Tammi, Tatum's teacher.  She seemed like the perfect fit and was so good with the kids.  I'm an emotional mess right now with this pregnancy.  I cry at commercials, hearing songs, just about everything.  So I couldn't even give her a hg to say bye because I thought I would lose it.  Tatum hugged her though so I'll just live through her.

We have lots of fun things planned for the summer so I can't wait so spend more time with my munchkins having fun in the sun!

Summer...HERE WE COME!!!

First Day of School
I'm sad I didn't get a picture of her today, but I'm pretty sure I have enough to see how much she has grown over the last year.

Ms. Tammi made each kid in her class a little scrapbook of things throughout the year.  I will love looking back at it as Tatum gets older.  I'm sure I will be as emotional then as I was today...even not being pregnant!

Play Date!

I have a few friends on maternity leave, so even though school isn't quite out yet (they are teachers), we were able to play anyways.  Kate, Alison, Liz, and I (plus all our kids) headed over to Gab's for some play time.

Gabby made a ball pit from a blow up pool and the kids were running a diving into it.  They LOVED it!

Dr. Appt

I had my monthly check up today.

Pretty uneventful, just the way I like it.

I have a low lying placenta, which just means I get another sonogram before the baby is due.  I had placenta previa with Druz so this doesn't concern me as much but will double check it again when I'm 30 something weeks.

We heard the heart beat again, love that sound.

Pitty Party Alert...

Nothing fits me, I feel fat and all my maternity clothes seem extremely outdated or still too big but yet my regular clothes are way to small.  Poo Dylan has 4 more months of this chaos in our closet to endure.  I get so frustrated everytime I have to get dressed in something that doesn't have an elastic waist (i.e., not workout clothes).

This was my closet after getting ready today.
Just keepin' it real.

Sunday Funday

We spent a couple hours with our friends today celebrating Hunter's 3rd Birthday.  His party was at Jump for Fun and the kids had a blast!

Saturday, May 25, 2013

We have been wanting to try Old West Cafe for a while now and today was the day.  We have definitely been missing out.  The food was so good.  I'm already looking forward to our next visit!

Patiently waiting for her chocolate chip pancake.

Friday Funday

My friend Tiffany just bought a house close by so the kids and I headed on over to check it out.  She isn't living in it yet because she is having some work done first.  She brought paint over and let the kids paint on her wood floors and pretty much anywhere they wanted to.  The floors are being torn out so she didn't care.  I told her that when my kids come over after the remodel, don't get upset if they start painting or coloring on the new floors!  They had a blast.

Tatum wore herself out at Tiffany's.  While Druz was napping she said she was going to go up to her room and read some books.  I found her face down in her closet passed out.

My baby holding a baby.

We had dinner at Jake's Hamburgers in Downtown Grapevine then took a little stroll down Main Street and treated ourselves to some ice cream.

End of Year Performance

Tatum had her end of the year performance tonight.  The theme was nursery rhymes and all the classes did such a good job.  It was cute.  I got there early but pretty much all the other parents were there an hour before me because the best seat I could find was in the WAY back!  These pre-school parents mean business.  I can only imagine what it's like as they get older!

I feel like she is getting so big and grown up and then I see these pictures.  She looks so little!

Playin' Around

This is what Vicki gave Druz for his birthday.  They can't get enough of it.
It's nice having an extra room for toys like this!

Two Year Check Up

Now that the fun is over Druz had his 2 year check up.  He was a trooper even through the shots.

He weighs just shy of 30 pounds (29.75 to be exact or 70th percentile) and is 36 inches tall (3 ft or 90th percentile)

Even Tatum got a sucker for being such a good girl while Druz was getting checked out.

Because Everyone Deserves a Pony for Their 2nd Birthday

We had a birthday party for Druz yesterday.  It always sounds like a good idea to have a party and it always starts out on a smaller scale than how t actually ends up.

The kids had a ton of fun and I enjoyed planning it but I think I was most excited about it being over.  Bitter sweet of course because when it's all over that means my baby is officially 2.

Thanks to every one that helped! My Mom was a trooper the day of the party, as always and without Liza, Ron, Maddie, and Brian I would have never pulled it off.

Food!
