I had my first cavity filled on tuesday.Skydiving, no problem; Zip-lining, no problem; getting a cavity filled, TERRIFIED.
I'm FREAKING out over the shot!
They put some kind of topical gel on my gums for about 10 minutes. He comes back and asks me if I feel him poking my gums. I didn't feel a thing. I was seriously amazed. When they gave me the shot I didn't feel anything either. As a matter of fact, I didn't feel anything the whole time. It was like the drilling was all fake.
I survived my first filling.

Oh I hate sitting in the dentist chair,,,I got my first cavity about 8 months ago and I was so freaked about getting a shot in the mouth that I went without the pain medicine.
